Privacy Policy.

This policy describes what information Scaligine ("we," "us") collects about visitors to scaligine.vercel.app, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. We are a Canadian company and operate under the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy law.

What we collect

• Email address — only when you submit the waitlist form. Used to email you about the launch, brand updates, and offers.
• Marketing consent — recorded as a "yes/no" against your email when you submit the form.
• Anonymous traffic data — page views, device type, country, referrer. Collected by Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. This is aggregate, cookieless, and not tied to your email.
• Source attribution — if you arrived from a tagged campaign link (e.g. an Instagram bio link with a utm_source parameter), that source is stored alongside your email so we know which channel reached you.
• Referral information — if you joined via someone else's referral link, the referral code is stored alongside your email.

What we don't collect

• We do not collect names, phone numbers, addresses, payment information, or birthdates on this site.
• We do not run third-party advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or session replay tools.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.

Where your information lives

Your waitlist position, referral attribution, and signup metadata are stored in Supabase Postgres in the Canada Central region (Montreal). This data does not leave Canada.

Your email address and marketing consent are additionally sent to Klaviyo (US-based) — the service that sends our launch and update emails. This cross-border transfer is necessary for email delivery; you explicitly consent to it via the checkbox on the form. Klaviyo is bound by industry-standard data processing terms and recognized cross-border transfer frameworks.

Server logs (request IPs, timing) are stored briefly in Vercel (US) for operational monitoring and are not associated with your email.

How long we keep it

We retain your email until our launch event in Fall 2026 and for a reasonable period afterward to operate as a brand you've opted into. You can ask us to remove it at any time.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA — and equivalent provisions in Quebec Law 25 and other applicable laws — you have the right to:

• Know what we hold about you
• Request a correction or deletion
• Withdraw your consent to marketing email at any time (every email we send includes an unsubscribe link; you can also email us directly)
• Complain to the relevant privacy regulator if you believe we've mishandled your information
